Stuyvesant Red Cross

Our very own Red Cross Club in Stuyvesant was founded by Harry Truong and Rena Mei in 2007 and since then has been one of the most influential clubs in New York. Over 1000 members strong, Stuyvesant Red Cross is sure to be one of the highlights of your high school experience. Being the largest club at Stuyvesant High School, Stuyvesant Red Cross Club aims to bring volunteer opportunities to students who strive to make a difference not only in school, but also their community and throughout the city. Many of our events are geared towards raising awareness of diseases, such as the AIDS Walk. We also partake in smaller, localized events to spread happiness including festivals, book drives, and more. This year, we aim to continue hosting a school wide blood drive, coordinate the International Humanitarian Law Campaign, and host the annual Stuy Health Fair in order to support the American Red Cross, raise awareness of the importance of IHL, and promote healthy lifestyles.

Stuyvesant Red Cross is part of SPARK Unity, a coalition of clubs, where you can help others and meet in a warm, friendly, confidential atmosphere to talk about any issues and/or concerns. The SPARK Iniative is based on inclusivity and community. SPARK Clubs at Stuy include, but are not limited to:
