Check for other plans BEFORE signing up for events.

It is not okay to cancel events because you forgot about other plans. We understand that sometimes things slip, but do not take advantage of our cancellation policy. When you sign up for events, you are making a commitment of your time, so please try your best to keep those commitments.

 

Keep track of your events.

Forgetting that you signed up for an event is NOT a valid excuse to cancel. You are responsible for keeping track of which events you signed up for. We recommend writing them down on a calendar or in your planner.

 

Notify us of cancellations ASAP.

We understand that sometimes things come up suddenly and you may have to cancel an event. In this case, please notify us as soon as you find out. Please DO NOT wait until you receive a confirmation email to let us know.

 

Please EMAIL US for personal concerns.

If you have any personal questions or concerns, please email us. It's fine to ask general questions on the Facebook group, but we would prefer to answer more specific/personal issues via email.

 

Include the event name in the subject line.

If you are emailing us about an event, please include the event name in the subject line and your full name and 4-Digit ID in the body. This will help us solve your issue sooner.

 

Check your forms.

You should always check that the information you filled in is correct, especially your email since it is the primary method for us to contact you about confirmations and updates.

 

Never submit forms twice.

If you ever do make a mistake on a form by accident, please email us at stuyvesantrc@gmail.com and we will correct it for you. Please DO NOT resubmit the form.

 

Come on time to events.

As was previously stated, when you sign up for events, you are making a commitment to volunteer. You should not be coming to events 10 or 15 minutes late. We will deduct hours for tardiness.

 

ALWAYS SIGN IN **AND** OUT!

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, you must ALWAYS sign both in and out at events. If you cannot find a leader, please do not just leave. We include our phone numbers in emails, so you can contact us.
